Days 1 Arrival Nairobi
Pick up from the airport on arrival and transfer you to Eka hotel for overnight stay
Day 2 : Nairobi – Amboseli National park
Depart Nairobi at 0730 hrs and proceed to Amboseli national park to arrive in good time for lunch .Lunch at Amboseli Serena lodge followed by afternoon game drives at the magnificent park at the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge
Day 3: Amboseli national park
Full day in this photogenic park. Morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya- Tanzania border, The Park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,896m) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of Elephants’ some of the largest Elephant herds are found here. The Game Park also contains vast groups of Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos and Antelopes.
Day 4: Amboseli- Lake Manyara National park
Depart the lodge soon after breakfast and drive to Lake Manyara National park via Namanga boarder – proceed for evening gamedrives at the scenic Lake Manyara National park. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Escarpment Lodge
Located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life, and breathtaking views. Lake Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions are another reason to pay this park a visit. The only kind of their species in the world, they make the ancient mahogany and elegant acacias their home during the rainy season, and are a well-known but rather rare feature of the northern park. In addition to the lions, the national park is also home to the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world — a fact that makes for interesting game viewing of large families of the primates.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour
After early morning breakfast leave with picnic lunch for a full day crater tour. You will be taken 2000ft down the crater by a 4wheel drive vehicle, explore the crater before ascending back to the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.
The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main drawcard for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is home of Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 6: Ngorongoro-Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, proceed to Serengeti, Lunch at the camp. In the afternoon proceed for a game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Katikati camp
Day 7: Serengeti National Park
Day spent exploring the vast park rich with abundant wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Katikati camp
Serengeti is Africa’s most famous and Tanzania’s largest park covering 14,736 sq km and is adjoining with the Masai Mara National reserve in Kenya. With a wildebeest population of about 2 million and several other hoofed species (which include zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, impala, topi, Grants gazelle, Kongoni, Eland, Kirk’s dik dik, klipspringer, roan, Oryx, oribi, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe and warthog), the Serengeti is sure to attract a string of prey such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, golden jackals and bat eared foxes. Elephants are relatively scarce and the few remaining black rhinoceros are restricted to the Moru Koppies area.
Day 8: Serengeti –Speke bay (Lake Victoria)
We leave the camp soon after breakfast and proceed to Speke bay lodge where you spend the afternoon fishing or taking a boat ride at an extra cost. Speke Bay Lodge is located on the south-eastern shore of Lake Victoria in Tanzania, East Africa. It is 15 kilometers from the Serengeti National Park. Speke Bay is part of Speke Gulf, named after the famous explorer John Hanning Speke, who, in 1858, discovered Lake Victoria to be the source of the Nile. Embraced by savannah, the Lodge looks like a small village, stretched out along the shores of the lake
Day 9: Speke bay-Masai Mara Reserve
After breakfast check out of the lodge and proceed to Masai Mara National Reserve via Isebania Border You do a game drive en-route. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Leisure Lodge
Day 10/11: Maasai Mara game reserve
Day spent exploring the park in search of the big 5 /and other wildlife species. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Leisure Lodge
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures
Day 12: Masai Mara – Nairobi
Breakfast then proceed for further game drives as you drive to Nairobi to arrive by 1400 hrs.
